Hunt giant nature-infused beasts
Survive their attacks, learn from their behaviors, and use your Karakuri and your weapons in combination to cut these creatures down to size.
Amaterasu
Worshipped for years, everywhere Amaterasu is revered seemingly falls mysteriously into ruin, and no records remain to tell more of the hallowed beast.
Deathstalker
Occasional pack-hunters and boasting terrifying strength, Deathstalkers bring down prey with alarming speed. Long has this beast been the hunter's bane.
Earthbreaker
Legend has it that Earthbreakers created the Earth's landscape, marching far and wide, carving valleys and forcing great peaks high into the sky.
Golden Tempest
Located in a mysterious place known as the Golden Sea, this beast is the embodiment of the wind, which blows some to riches and others to death.
Goldshard
Covered with exceptionally hard, protective spines, when the beast spots prey, it ejects them as projectiles to incapacitate its target.
Kingtusk
Having developed multiple eyes so prey can't slip away, the Kingtusk tends to keep most of them shut, relying instead on its sense of smell when hunting.
Lavaback
Its cunning, dexterous use of its volcanic body and the way it sometimes seems to sneer at humankind have earned the Lavaback a grim reputation.
Ragetail
The Hanayadoshi, or Ragetail, is a voracious eater and permanently hungry despite consuming vast amounts of food compared to its size.
Sapscourge
The Kohakunushi, or Sapscourge, produces substances very similar to pollen and sap from its craggy skin and shaggy fur.
Spineglider
A flying Kemono that rapidly generates rock from a liquid it secretes, which solidifies into a hard mineral mass.
Craft your hunting grounds
You are the only one in Azuma able to wield the Karakuri technology. This ancient tech enables you to adapt your environment into creative hunting grounds ideal for taking down the giant Kemono.
Celestial Anchor
Hunters can tether themselves to a celestial anchor and swing around the anchor to close the gap between you and a Kemono.
Flying Vine
Typically used outside of combat, the Flying Vine shoots a zipline across a great distance. Visiting hunters will also be able to use your zipline.
Glider
The glider allows hunters to stay in the air longer to traverse Azuma more easily or position yourself directly over a Kemono.
Hunting Tower
Used to detect large Kemono in the nearby vicinity. Upgraded construction techniques improve discoverability of additional artifacts and creatures.
Paddle Scoop
Self-propelled, the paddle scoop is a more efficient method of catching and storing fish while you are on the hunt.
Pounder
Packing a wallop, the pounder is a more complex Karakuri that has a slower attack that inflicts a large amount of stun damage to its target.
Repeater Crossbow
Shoots at regular intervals to increase your damage output and distract Kemono for a few precious seconds. Great for hunting flying Kemono.
Roller
Traverse large distances quickly with the Roller, and after tracking down prey, hunters can catapult a still-moving Roller into the Kemono.
Star Bomb
Boasting high attack power and wide attack range, Star Bomb takes some time to detonate on its own, or explodes immediately when attacked.
Wind Vortex
Generates a strong upwards wind that can propel hunters into the air. Use in conjunction with a glider for added height and gliding speed.
