
Which knife is used for what?
Thin knife - about 1.3 mm
The thin knife is suitable for zucchini, potatoes, apples and cucumbers, which you want to peel and cut into slices or leaves for example sushi or vegetable and fruit chips.
Thick knife - about 1.8 mm
Even with the thick knife you can cut almost all fruits and vegetables and process them into delicious dishes such as vegetable lasagna or creative appetizers.
Know How Application tips
• Please note that the adapter can only be used for soft vegetables and fruit.
• For optimal results, the ingredients you want to process should have a diameter of about 3.8 to 8.9 cm.
• Especially hard vegetables and fruits, such as Jicama or Yucca roots, should be peeled before processing.
• Zucchini or cucumbers should be firm, thick and a maximum of 11.4cm long. Here you can use the adapter and completely insert the vegetables and you should cut off the ends.
• Apples should be round and thick, here is no adapter to use and you insert the fruit until the first mark.
• Potatoes and sweet potatoes should be round, symmetrical and maximum 14 cm long. It is best of all to cut ends at right angles and to introduce vegetables to the first mark.
• Depending on the food, the ingredient skewer does not have to be inserted completely.
